Terms of Service

Last updated 7 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Frankie, a running-coach app currently in beta. By using it, you agree to them. They're written in plain language for an early beta and aren't legal advice.

The service

Frankie connects to your Strava account, analyses your recent running, and gives you data-driven feedback and coaching suggestions. It's operated by Aurélien Hubert.

Not medical or professional advice

Frankie is an informational tool — not medical, health, or professional coaching advice. Running and training carry inherent physical risk. Use your own judgment, and consult a qualified doctor or coach before changing how you train, especially if you have a health condition or injury. You train at your own risk.

Beta software

Frankie is early-stage. It may change, break, or be unavailable, and features may be added or removed without notice. While I take care with your data, during the beta I can't guarantee against loss — please keep Strava as your system of record. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

Eligibility and your account

You need a Strava account to use Frankie, and you must be old enough to consent to data processing where you live (at least 16 in the EU). You're responsible for activity under your account — keep your sign-in secure.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempting to breach security or access other people's data, no automated scraping, and no unlawful use.

Third-party services

Frankie relies on Strava and Google. Your use of those remains subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Frankie's access to Strava is read-only.

Your data

How your data is handled is covered by the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurélien Hubert is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for training decisions you make based on the app. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. I may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or the beta is wound down.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France, and any dispute is subject to the competent French courts.

Changes

I may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
